Ox-cart ride in Cambodia, farmland near Siem Reap

I didn't upload these pictures till now because the internet connection in Cambodia was so spotty.

The countryside is very beautiful and the people are wonderful too.

Rice paddies as a backdrop. Cambodia is a very agrarian society. The soil is very rich here and the villagers live off the fruits and vegetables of the land.

Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia

Cambodia was celebrating their 3-day holiday. Usually, visitors who wanted to see Angkor Wat had to have their shoulders and knees covered for modesty sake if they wanted to see the third level of Angkor Wat...but due to the closure of the third level (because of the holiday), we were told we could wear shorts and sleeveless outfits. It has been so hot these days, we were so thrilled! Because it was a holiday, Angkor Wat was packed with Khmers enjoying Angkor Wat with family picnics and worship.
