Kaymakli - Underground City
We stayed in a small village of Kaymakli at the Kaymakli Crystal Hotel in Cappadocia. 8 minutes walk from our hotel is the Kaymakli Underground City. The cave tunnels are still used today as storage areas and cellars. The tunnels are narrow and steeped. If you are claustrophobic, do not visit the tunnels. The underground city has eight floors but only the first four floors are open to the public.
