Perfume River boat to visit the Clam Village, Hue

We took a ride down the Perfume River and visited a village (which translate to Clam Village from the Vietnamese). Their village is known for their fried rice with small clams. Clam shells were everywhere.

The villagers were very warm and welcoming.

Mountains of leftover clams shells

Small clam shells, as small as my baby finger nails. Surprised anyone has the patience to get the clams out for the fried rice dish.
